MAPMS provides information and assistance required by those who work with the unique ecological, sociological economic and regulatory concerns associated with managing aquatic plants in lake systems affected by exotic species, nutrient pollution, use conflicts and intense recreational demands.
Society of Lake Management Professionals
SLMP is a society specifically for lake management professionals. Their mission is to foster an appreciation for and enhance the management of ponds and lakes, managed by private companies, with particular concern for the aesthetic and recreational uses and stewardship of such waters. Using tools such as innovation, education, representation, accreditation, and standardization of best management practices. They advocate for wise stewardship and Member Companies are expected to exhibit the highest standards of honestly and integrity.
RISE (Responsible Industry for a Sound Environment)
RISE’s mission is to promote and advance the specialty pest management and plant health industries through collaboration, representation, and advocacy.
Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC)
WMC is the largest and most influential business association in the state, working to make Wisconsin the best place in the nation to do business. They are the state chamber of commerce, state manufacturers’ association and state safety council. They have been serving as Wisconsin’s business voice since 1911 and represent over 3,800 member companies spanning all sectors of the economy.
Aquatica
Aquatica was founded in 2000 by Dean Pipito in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. For almost two decades and hundreds of water features later, Aquatica is the driving force in the water gardening industry. Aquatica has consistently ranked in the TOP 10 out of 63,000 contractors nationally. Aquatica has been nationally recognized in several publications, was featured on “The Great Lakes Gardener” television program with Melinda Myers, has achieved Best of Show awards with the Metropolitan Builders Association, The Realtor’s Spring Home Shows and NARI Association along with many more.
